The bird photography experience at Mountain House is unique and captivating. Within our gardens, surrounded by native vegetation and flowers, it is possible to spot and photograph several birds, including our emblematic bird, the Blue-naped Chlorophonia as well as endemic birds of Colombia, such as the hummingbird Santa Marta Blossomcrown, the Santa Marta Warbler, the Sierra Nevada Brushfinch. During certain seasons, visitors also have the opportunity to observe the rare Santa Marta sabrewing, making each visit an opportunity to capture that photo you’ve been seeking.
